Extension of stamp duty holiday could be extended by three months to the end of June according to the Guardian paper.
Rishi Sunak, it is understood, has decided on a three-month continuation of the tax break in England (this should be confirmed in next weeks budget on 3 March).
The tax haven which cuts the bills entirely on properties costing between £125,000 – £500,000 and reduces it on homes costing more than that was announced last summer and due to end on 31 March. However Mr Sunak, it is understood, has decided to extend it for three months, in line with other measures, to support the economy.
